Notes of Appreciation from the Inmates (2001-07-29)

Hi All, Look at these notes from the inmates and you will see how God is working in their lives.  They are all addressing the ESL teachers because they wrote these in class. I am sure they have similar feelings towards the religious  team and all the prayer warriors of the ministry. Can you guess who the "cutest teacher" is as referenced in the notes?

All the women Chinese inmates left this past week. One of them actually requested baptism, but we missed her just by a week. May God guide them wherever they go. (I'll find out what's going on with the women class and let the teachers know.)

Mark just delivered more Chinese-English dictionaries to FDC. Thanks!

Dear Teachers, How are you? Thank you for your help and your care, so that I can learn English here. Thank God for giving me peace and happiness.

Dear Teachers, How are you? In these several months, you have given me a lot of good things. As a result, I know a little English and I can talk with English people a bit. I used to not be able to speak a word of English. Therefore, I am seeing good results. Thanks a lot.

My respected teachers, Thank you for teaching me English. Although I still have a lot that I do not know, I will continue to learn hard. "Thank you."

Respected Teachers, I really appreciate your taking time out of your busy schedule to come to teach me. This way, we can handle some daily interaction with others. We can carry on simple conversations with English people. This is helping us live more comfortably. Less problems. I really need to thank god for bring you all to help us and care for us.  I am sending you my greetings and thanks from the deepest part of my heart. "Thank you very much."

Thank you teachers helping us learn English. Thank you.

You are a very cute teacher. I am very happy. God will give you blessing.

Pray that God is with you. amen.

(Drawing of brown flowers with green leaves.) This flower is a gift for my cutest teacher.

(Drawing of a purple pink heart.) "I like Saturday school."

Dear Teachers, How are you? I whole-heartedly appreciate your caring for me and education. This way, I am able to learn the right amount of English and other things. Thank God for caring for us. "Thank you."

Respected Teachers, Thank you for helping us all along. I am glad to be able to learn a little English here. Although  our English level is not good, you patiently teach us. Thank you. Through you, I can feel that God loves us very much. Here, there are so many brothers who love us.  "Thanks a lot."

You are one of those teachers whom I like most.

Respected teacher, Being taught by you in this special environment, not only have we gained knowledge, our heart has also been changed. Thinking back this past year, The teachers (Chinese and non-Chinese) have worked hard to teach us; they love us as if they were our brothers and parents. Without complaint, they teach us. Some give up their time of rest; some give up happy time with their family; some come even when they feel ill. I whole-heartedly send my blessing to you. "I hope everything is ok with
you."
